I knew my house sale was taking too long. And it finishes next month... however, the 2999 Euro price is not changed? And the pound is getting stronger vs. the Euro again... so maybe.

I've abandoned hope for the 88 key model and have a bigger studio. Maybe I'll get a regular one, see how it is and if I feel I still need the Indigo2 as well.

There's a discussion over at Gearslutz about this announcement, if anyone here wants to go read it:

I was never good with the small print.....thanks JB.
That's a great warranty.
Couple that with Soniccores track record of stability using DSP chips and I feel like a loved puppy...
These cards were made 10 years ago and I have used them for 4 -5 years live and at home between the gig, and never once overheat or crash.
6 ADP21369's has made many people nervous, but I am lickin' my lips..

Ah, Jimmy,
You have not read the warranty terms before? It is stated under the Terms & Conditions section on the Purchase page.....a one year warranty for parts and labor. :-)
Also, there's the 2 week money-back satisfaction guarantee printed there....

Jimmy, you just have this way with words....!

Yes a man sized PSU.
Wall warts show budgetary consideration, which lead me to wonder what else they might have cut corners on..
I am in the mood to bust John's balls a little bit......so here we go.

Brotha' Man JBowen, since we are getting a top shelf product where money is secondary, I was curious about the warranty.
I am sure there will be no problems but Western Digital Raptors are also top shelf and many people purchase those for it's sheer strength and 5 year warranty, which is the longest outside of SCSI drives.

Will Solaris's warranty be as good as it's sound quality ?..............
( Boy when I stroke somebody I use both hands.... )

I am all in favor of decent quality power supplies- I understand the need to economize, but I generally dislike the wall wart/external transformer thingies that DSI and Access uses. The tiny plugs are not exactly robust, either....

Consider it an investment in your future.
Personally I see these upgrades as extending the life of the synth, so I welcome them.

Ouch :?

John, I don't mean to be dis-respectful here but for that price it had better be an excellent synthesizer in every aspect. For me, anyways...

This reflects some final parts costs increases that we have to pay, plus I decided to use a more robust power supply with IEC 3 connectors.

Cool..........Does that mean some extra improvements, not that it needs any, but I am curious.
