Name of first sample of a Sample Pool doesn’t show

by John Bowen » Thu Dec 29, 2011 3:46 pm

I realized I’d better mention this as well, though it’s been around for a while (so I sort of got used to it).

After loading in a set of samples/Sample Pool, normally the name of the sample will appear in the bottom line of the graphics display, as you scroll through the samples (Wave Select when using a WAV Osc type, of course). However, because we changed the offset numbering system, the first sample (which currently is numbered 0) does not show its name in the display. This means if you only have a single sample in the pool (such as the Harpsichord file which is shipped with the factory CF card), you will not see any name, just a 0 for the wave selection in the Osc page.

I had requested that the first sample be number 1, not 0, and I think the coder just missed something here, so...it’s on the list to be fixed - just be aware of this as you start messing about with samples.
