I’m assuming it’s the Hosa converter.
But Hosa has 48k to 44.1k ADAT Converters that seemed to cut the signal.
I wanted a rack of TC Fireworx running at 44.1 w/o using Mutec Word Clock.
Try one of these if eBay has them used.
You can select 44.1 or 48k on the ADAT end of things.

Re: Stuck Notes On Glissandos
Don’t use a sustain pedal, but will mess around and see if the notes off message can fix this.
I usually have to stop playing, load another preset.
But I’m covering multiple parts so this is always a PITA and why I’m avoiding said performance techniques.
Chat again tomorrow

Re: Stuck Notes On Glissandos
Thanks guys.
Its on various presets.
When I do a glissando w/o portamento, etc. just regular 2 octave gliss up to a chord using my finger like a pianist, synth or hammond b3 player would do, it gets stuck.
Its not everytime either, which is really annoying.
That means I get comfortable thinking it ...

Re: Stuck Notes On Glissandos
Is it possible to downgrade back to when I didn’t have the sustained notes issue?
I’m thinking the very first upgrade after Solaris release.
Since Im not really using MIDI Out just MIDI In prgm.chng. Messages any idea what number that would be?
Thanks

Stuck Notes On Glissandos
Im having stuck notes on poly gliss, as in the old style Prince/Bruno Mars slide into Organish tones w/AFT vibratos.
Never noticed this as I was never performing this type of dance music before.
I can escape by going backward or forward, but not easy when my left hand is comping or doing Horns ...

Re: DIGITAL LEVEL TOO HOT`
I use Solaris Digital Out to Hosa AES/EBU Converter, fixed everything.
Solaris Digital Out to XITE-1 AES/EBU Input.
It sounds bigger than straight 48k SP/DIF and you’ve noticed you’re volume knob won’t work using Digital.
The Blue Hosa SP/DIF to AES/EBU is all you need.
Sounds better than analog too ...

Love your work on Solaris Plug In.
Thanks for these, I find it quicker to make presets.

Re: The hits keep on coming...Announcing the OS v1.4.1 Update!
My downward glissandos no longer freeze me out, thanks.
I was just about to revert back as this was too frequent.
So far new update has fixed this.
Cool.

Re: Announcing another major update to the Solaris Operating System, v1.4.0!
I’m just glad it works.
The synth has always been a great performer.
I like using Solaris to blend/control a Roland D-05 Module.
Ribbons, Joystick, ModWh all dialed in, Solaris presets send a matching prom chng message.
Some presets are just one synth.
The presets using both synths are pretty ...

Re: Announcing another major update to the Solaris Operating System, v1.4.0!
Well here’s what finally worked.
Tried 6 more times, step by step, inch by inch using txt. 1 and txt. 0, then hitting enter after boot to try manually.
No joy.
Then my memory served me well.
I had 2 OS Files on my Card because I left out .raw on the name to get 1.31 to work.

Cool.
IIRC the drag and drop might have been what made it work the last time.
Thanks JB and best wishes to you and your family, and happy gigging..

Re: Announcing another major update to the Solaris Operating System, v1.4.0!
I really get confused by instructions when I read them.
For example, do I change the compressed files name in the downloaded decompressed folder first before sending it to CF Card.
Do I drag and drop or copy?
Which OS File gets deleted on the Card, one or both?
Do I delete those before I copy, or ...
