Hello again!
I would want a desktop module- I have enough keyboards already, and several of them have PolyAT. I can deal with the decreased display options, as long as you can move rapidly between which modules they address. The Korg WaveStation A/D had a cool little miniaturized joystick that ...

Re: New PolyAT controller from the makers of the VAX77
I am in for the 96-key version. Those guys did a great job on the VAX77, it was just too expensive for the market. A 4 octave version for $400? Wow....

New PolyAT controller from the makers of the VAX77
The Infinite Response people are coming out with a new PolyAT controller at a price significantly less than the original VAX77:

I have a VAX77 and love it, but 96 keys for $700 might be impossible to resist!

Re: French review on audiofanzine
The Andromeda was an analog synth, it did not alias. Do you mean the stepping/resolution problems of the controllers and knobs? I owned one for a decade, and sold it primarily because there were several issues about it I didn't like (no response to PolyAT over Midi, resolution and range of the ...

Re: LCD replacement
That actually looks pretty cool....I wonder how it would look on a dark Solaris? Not that I am going to change anything, but if I did I would also consider changing the main display to match.

Re: Polyphonic Aftertouch As A Modulation Source
I was one of the Kickstarter purchasers of the QuNexus; I thought it was a really well-made, functional piece of gear, but in the end I just couldn't warm to the small pads.

Re: Polyphonic Aftertouch As A Modulation Source
The QuNexus does have PolyAT- you just need to be comfortable playing small pads instead of regular-sized keys. CME makes the X-Key in two and three octave versions, which have full-sized (though shallow) keys with PolyAT for a similar price.

Re: Inappropriate voice stealing.
It happened to me again recently while playing a preset, but I couldn't reproduce it. Hadn't happened in quite awhile.

Well, I can tell you that with Logic and Mavericks on a Mac it works fine, pretty sure it's not the Solaris.

Re: Hi forum readers, Solaris owners and waiting listers
Had mine for years now and people at the gigs are shocked at it's audio excellence, but I use the digital outs into the AES/EBU on an XITE-1 rack, so it's super clean, super fat, and this synth is moved around every night.
It's the best synth I ever owned, and according to everyone else the best ...

Re: Hi forum readers, Solaris owners and waiting listers
Well, at least you guys won't have to wait as long as some of the "pioneers!" I have had mine for more than a year, and it is the centerpiece of my studio. I still feel like I am just scratching the surface of it, there is just so much to it. That, and my day job keeps getting in the way....
