Re: Delay time over 1 second can not be adjusted with data w
i hope it can be better than 10ths one day, at least 100ths so it keeps the same resolution as the below 1 sec (maybe the display field could have the second underlined or inverted to not waste a display spot for the decimal.)

Re: Cant Play 2 keys at the same time with mono sounds
i did not look at the key priority, but when i played an octave "at once" i would hear a slight sound then silence. for normal playing i would adapt, but its a bit strange

Cant Play 2 keys at the same time with mono sounds
Instead of picking one or the other, it seems to pick neither and not play anything. I noticed it when sending MIDI but even with an inaccurate human playing 2 notes, it still happens.
I noticed it on the JV voices on the first few on bank 5

Delay time over 1 second can not be adjusted with data wheel
It's quite important, if you need an exact delay time to match your tempo.

Re: Reverb....
1) So you mean to have a selection of filters for the Delay feedback path, similar to the set of filters in the Solaris filter section? A small subset actually - you need LP, HP, BP and Notch basically? These would replace the LP filter that is the Damping circuit (basically, the damping parameter ...

Re: Wish List For Next firmware update
i just want "guitar mode" which is not much different from poly aftertouch. Solaris is fantastic played from the continuum (mono only though) even the virus poops out when you send it continuum data, the Solaris is all like "no problemo, ill play that!"
in guitar mode, you are in the same preset ...

Re: Reverb....
During one of these 3 trips I just made to Germany (!), I did have a chance to discuss adding more effects, since we do have one SHARC handling only the final effects section, and it's far from being completely busy. We could also increase the FX pool with duplicate effects, so, we could have ...

Re: Reverb....
if you have more space on the effects DSP can you make a delay with all (or a subset of) the same filters the solaris has available in the feedback?
and, i know that effects cant be modulated by anything from the synth but could they get the midi/main arp clock rate and use it for LFOs? (since ...

Re: Your views on the overall feel?
I quite like the keyboard, i don't even notice it, i think that's a good sign. not like the m-audio midi controller which feels "plasticy and cheap" or the roland v-synth which feels "slow" i dont really have any others to compare it to since they are modules etc, i ought to be getting a sub phatty ...

Re: Wish List For Next firmware update 2012
remember the solaris can use the audio inputs for modulators as well as sources, so if you want to effect samples or streaming audio, just play them in to the input from something designed to do that. you should be able to do anything you could if those things were built in.

Re: Solaris and modular system
sometimes you can "trick" an AC coupled input by sending a high frequency sine wave ofset so it is only on the positive side, and amplitude modulated with the control signal. that could be done with VCA, the high frequency will "dissapear" because it is higher than the ADC input filter frequency ...

Re: Could this be done?
it would be cool to do that, right now i am having variable luck making anything work besides my modular, but i dont have even 2 identical oscillators or filters so i have to kind of fake it. i had a bit of luck with the virus TI, but i have to make a whole program with the same voice, once i edit ...
