My SOLARIS stays in sync with ableton.
And more than that it's a clever sync : if i change the tempo on ableton it stays in sync but with no phase effect as other gear i own.

Ho! I'm so happy you eventually find the cause for the midi sync issue, i now can have hope to use the powerfull arpeggiator or the motion sequencer in my music.
By the way i'm still in love with my solaris after those years.

For me the annoying bug is the impossibility to sync solaris with my daw or my tempest.
Can we hope some evolution here?

Ok Christek, i understand why you do that.
Yesterday evening i used this idea ( you gived me with your sound ) to create a sort of PWM on a sine, very interesting sound.
I explain :
VCO1 Square
LFO 1 modulates the shape of VCO1
VCO1 into Lag1 with a time of 1.0ms: the angles of the square are shaved ...

My two cents :
Today i had the freeze boot on the waldorf screen.
I reboot the unit: it seems ok but in fact i have sound on outputs 1 and 4 but no sound on outputs 2 and 3.
I reboot again, and it was eventually ok.

Very good news for those who have midi issues : Drop and/or stuck with their Solaris and DAW.
I have bought a little box wich seems to perfectly fix the problem :

I'm thinking about buying a tool wich could avoid those drop and stuck but i'm not sure of is efficiancy.
An AL-88 from Alyseum, i have an MS 812 of the same constuctor in my modular and it's a sort of miracle.
In fact the Solaris stuck and drop only with my daw, never with my master keyboard. And ...

Yes John, it's Ugly.
But it's more easy to read.
I'm not sure i'm intersted to do that on my unit yet.
Perhaps in some years, when i shall be totally far-sightedness.
