I can't seem to get external clock sync to work when using USB only, i.e., no MIDI cables.
edit: I just plugged a MIDI cable in and external sync works now. I'm using Ableton and I set both the Solaris USB port and the MIDI port from my MOTU interface to "sync" so they will receive clock.

Re: Current owners - joystick question
My old Novation Remote 25 allows you to engage/disengage the joystick spring by flipping a tab on the bottom of the unit. I wonder if something like that is an option if people really want it? It's not a very nice joystick though. I wouldn't trade it for the current Solaris joystick, even for the ...

Re: Ken Elhardt Preset group
Very nice! Deconstructing these is going to be a learning experience. Love #19 KE Guitar Full Body. Sounds like one of my favorite Kurz samples.

Re: A way to see destination routing
I think this would be very helpful. Even if you have to page through a long list of destinations, it would eliminate some guesswork. Heck, you might be able to allow editing of the mod amount for each destination directly from this display...

Re: Navigation
Don't forget about holding the shift button while turning a parameter knob, to swap its acceleration mode, ie slow, precise controllers like LFO frequency become faster. I also find that I rotate the controllers by sliding my finger vertically along the grippy sides, versus 'twirling' them between ...

Thanks for the the tip, John. I was able to get really close based on your suggestion and Googling a bit more to understand the SH101 architecture. I think the only difference at this point is external effects on ...

Preset request - BOC ROYGBIV
Hello,
For one of my first preset attempts, I thought I'd try to recreate the bass line sound from Boards of Canada's ROYGBIV. I've got it pretty close (nailed the oscillator tuning and LFO pitch drift), but there's something not quite right. My patch is lacking some of the punch on the attack ...

Re: D50 Tricks
Sweet, I'm looking forward to checking them out. Most of my Solaris time has been testing things while I was working on the manual. I'm just now getting a chance to do some tweaking, and man is it fun. I'll post something if I come up with anything good.

Re: D50 Tricks
Hey, Jimmy, any chance of you posting some of your presets in the Preset section?
Cheers,
