Noise and Feedback.
The anglelic voices sound with noise, feedback and boost.
Sounds better w/ boost than the Jupiters, and JX-P.
I get the TB 303 Bass sound with HPF, Distortion and high resonance, again with a feedback path to the mixer.
Even get some crazy FM and Sync by using Oscillators to ...

It certainly looks possible, more controllers is always welcome.
Just wondering if there's some custom retro fitting that needs to be done.

Re: talkboxing with Solaris, few basic questions
I have the old Dunlop/Heil that I used and it worked really well.
I had to do it since our lazy Guitarist refused to break down and spend the money
as the Contractor specifically requested Joe Walsh's Rocky Mountain Way.
Haven't used it since but a ballsy square wave got the best tone for me, but ...

I never knew a synth could be made to do so much.
Imagine if Oberheims
Matrix 12 would have had a Delay........

I wish my comrades had the XITE-1 and were connected digitally via the ODL-312 Hosa Converter to AES/EBU.

What a nice way to control Solaris.
Could such a device be synced to Clock, then allow all program changes and automations to be performed, while using your hands to play the notes...?
I'm starting to see lots of gigs where automations are going to be beneficial, but the cues are all in house ...

I never let a few OS bugs stop me from using the best tools.
If that were the case, I'd still have a rack of S760s and 3 x 10" Trintrons.
But another OS tweek is always welcome...

Re: Custom Gig bag and Logo
I have a great ATA from A & S that fits perfectly for Solaris too. I wanted something for local gigs.
Gig bag makers are just accustomed to customers wanting to add protection to very expensive gear like a Stradavarious or Sumerian Clay Tablets.
They do it for love and obviously cost is not a ...

Gator GKB-61 is what I got after too many get back with you replies.
It allows a nice side space for pedals, has 2 wrap arounds to protect the keys and I use a panty hose shell on the joystick for added safety.
Costs....85 bucks.
I would have loved to see us get custom bags, even said I didn't mind ...

Re: Event Horizon (128 patches for the Solaris)
I just noticed that too....
As when a certain Sub patch was inaudible, I just moved the joystick and I did once ask how to retain positions rather than center a while back.
Thanks for confirming my suspicions marzzz, and thanks again Toby for way too many presets to audtion.

Re: Keyboard review of the P-12
Keyboard Mag is so lame. I read a section years ago by their synth "guru" explaining how Steve Millers' board man used Pulse Oscs' and a tape delay for the sound used in Fly Like An Eagle, and I came unglued as I dont care that these guys have to stoop so low for a living, but when it comes to ...
