Schrittmacher and Solaris
Here is a piece I did for a gig during a rainy night in September 2017 that features the Solaris in a prominent position in the mix:

Re: Developer Fund
Sorry for being late to the party (due to many things I have not had time to attend to the Solaris Forum for quite a while). Please count me in!John Bowen wrote: Wed Nov 22, 2017 11:14 pm Anyway, I need to find out how many of you would be willing to pre-pay DSP code development work, and exactly what features you would expect.

In attach a screenshot of the CF card folder. I notice I don't have a ".DS_Store" file like the rest of the Banks, could this be the problem ?
It might be worth mentioning that the ".DS_Store" is a macOS artifact and not something Solaris added. You will see this whenever you mount a disc in ...

Is the $250 price-tag for the OLED displays you offer the current production round the same for retrofitting?

I have used TC Arena for many years. An excellent reverb in my opinion. I am rather curious about the Eventide Space but have not been sufficiently intrigued to cough up the dough for it.

Re: New carrying case for your Solaris
Does it protect the joystick?
I have a soft case for the Solaris but am permanently worried about the joystick and have tried to find a way to protect it. My latest idea (which I have yet to implement) is to have a plastic cup of sorts and try to fix that to the unit with a strap. A hard case is ...

Re: Auto sensing pedal input
What I am aiming at is polarity but I suppose it would be cool if it could tell the type as well... Precognition, sort of...
I just read up on the Virus and it turns out that it senses polarity at power on. How? I have no idea, I'm afraid.

Auto sensing pedal input
I just read about the Access Virus and that it sports auto sense pedal input so "you don't have to worry about configuration when you need to borrow a pedal in a hurry."
Be that as it may, it is still a nice feature and something I have fiddled with too many times already. So the question is how ...

Mine came today, Nov 7, 2016. I am overwhelmed. There are so many things I don't get about this instrument (like almost everything). I have a ton of super noob questions and am afraid to post them as people online are not always kind or even polite.

Re: A way to see destination routing
I agree that it would be good not to have a button pressed all the time but have it toggle.
One way to solve the lack of LED on the shift button could be to add a shift indicator to the main screen somehow. If it was conspicuous enough, that should do the trick.
My reasoning is that GUI wise would ...

Re: Bank encoder interferes with MIDI clock
The other day I stumbled over a (probably) related problem: when running the Solaris with an external sequencer (in my case a Schrittmacher) I can fiddle with the controls on the front panel, as long as I stay off the ones round the main screen. If I do anything that has anything with the patches to ...

If you own a Solaris, you are eligible to access to a closed off part of the forum, just for owners. That is where you typically would find patches and such-likes.synthologist wrote:Where do I download all these from?
