Re: Solair #210 For Sale, UK-only
Thanks John, I do. I'm selling a few bigger items, some privately, so depending on what goes first I may yet keep the Solaris. I still love it, but, life happens...!
Good luck with any future developments at John Bowen Synth Design.

FS Solaris #210 For Sale, UK-only
Please see listing on reverb below, and feel free to contact me with any questions. Selling as an impending move forces some downsizing...

Re: New version of the OS ? Soon or not ?
It would be so nice to have this out in the wild! Then my solaris will have one up on the Jen sx1000 in terms of playing with other pieces of equipment.

Re: Holiday season wish
I just need fixes really - that we don't really know if the USB functionality works because the midi functionality is flaky is pretty scary.
John did imply not to "watch this space" sadly in another thread. Maybe in 2015 good things will happen though!

Re: Current State of the Solaris OS and Ongoing Development
Also getting issues when driven by hardware (DSI Tempest...Octatrack...). Sync is too slow and falls out of time...
Bit wary to buy a new box that needs ethernet and software to configure (always wary of softwares endurance!).

Re: Current State of the Solaris OS and Ongoing Development
I thought I could get round this by turning sequencer to key step mode, and using logic's arp to trigger it. But, hey held notes everywhere as soon as the clock starts to run. Fine when it isn't. Just goes wrong when you want to actually record! Amazing heh. EDIT: actually not fine when the clock ...

Re: Current State of the Solaris OS and Ongoing Development
Just to pile on, I'm having plenty of sync issues too. Over MIDI DIN, the solaris registers the right tempo most of the time, but is often too slow, so riffs etc programmed on the Solaris sequencer are not in time.

Delay midi clock "on" causing clicks
Hi All,
Newbie here so hopefully my error. In both bitwig (dl'd to test) and Logic X (main DAW), when the solaris is receiving clock (transport in DAW running) and the delay fx is synced to midi clock, there are clicks. They are intermittent (every 5-20 seconds). If you stop the DAW transport, no ...
