Got a very powerful new Physis K4 Master MIDI Controller with specs. never before seen in the real world.
Solaris and it's Number Pad, Joystick, AFT and single zone served double duty as a controller for a few years really well.
But now I want to use an Expression Pedal from one of the 8 Pedal Out ...

Re: Solaris White "Limited Edition" For Sale
Too bad I got one already or I would jump like a Fish.
If they could A/B one next to other synths, they would then realize the advantages in pure sound alone.
Good Luck, I am sure it will find a nice home.

Re: New PolyAT controller from the makers of the VAX77
Saw that. Much better than the QuNexus, but still it was fun trying it out for PAT.
Ended up turning the Q into a Clip Launcher live, and use 2 x pedals I didn't have.
But alas, it's all goodbye now that the Physis K4 has landed.

I'll buy it.
That thing is an excellent work horse. Thought they were all crushed up in a recycle center.

Re: Current State of the Solaris OS and Ongoing Development
Glad to see the DAW vrs. Hardware MIDI stuff got fixed.
Hardware w/ software mapping is really what has always worked for me.
The software programming tool by MIDI Solutions can filter out what ever you want including SYs Ex, but the routing of the AL-88 series gadgets looks awesome, I think I might ...

Re: Current State of the Solaris OS and Ongoing Development
I normally don't perform in that way but I am starting to use QuNexus to launch audio clips from Bidule and considering getting Live as the Max 4 Live stuff is really interesting me lately.
I will try and see if I can Sync up with the Arp. and if not try the Seq.
Give me a little while as I normally ...

Hey Patate.
I had problems integrating hardware synths MIDI with software DAWs and MIDI forever, just getting some MIDI Solutions Pedals and using the software programming tool you can customize the MIDI workflow and Filtering however you want.

Re: Current State of the Solaris OS and Ongoing Development
I"ve used it live for 3 years now and never had a single issue except stuck MIDI notes when using glissandos with my index finger, but that was fixed by using MIDI Solutions Pedals and customizing the data to and from Solaris.

OK < got a video from my camera, how can I post it, I don't cackle too much on the internet as I see Policemen in my soup, so I am not sure how to post videos.
I am up for any suggestions... :?:

Re: Polyphonic Aftertouch As A Modulation Source
Anyone here using the MIDI In of Solaris notice the weird boot time visuals when you boot up with the MIDI In connected....?
I just take the BCF MIDI B Out (Thru mode) into Solaris so all controllers have access, but the experience is trippy to say the least.
I think I can wait until after Boot up ...

Re: SOLARIS EXPANDER / EXPANSION - WISH :)
That looks great. I built similar 4U designs using Scope DSP cards for Solaris plug ins.
Now I use the XITE-1 and a 1U with the ribbon extender and riser card like you use above.
Would love to see a half length Full Height PCI-e card for Solaris, it's a great idea.
Fuckin' A...............
