Re: The hits keep on coming...Announcing the OS v1.4.1 Update!
Wow, that is a long list of fixes. Thank you very much once again! I have not had time to use Solaris for some time now, but I try to install the update soon.

Re: v1.3.1 OS Upgrade released!
I can confirm that the random tune works exactly as minorguy (Jim) explained. The parameter value in the home page 3/4 gets saved with the preset and does not affect other sounds (as I initially thought, mistakenly). I already saved new versions of some of my sounds with the RndTune on page 3/4 in ...

Re: v1.3.1 OS Upgrade released!
Thank you minorguy for the explanation. I think it is logical to implement it like this. It is imo the most important to have the value for presets, but the global value could be useful, if one wants to add more randomness to all sounds, also those programmed by others. It is highly possible that I ...

Re: v1.3.1 OS Upgrade released!
Just installed the update, so far working nicely! Browsing through preset names is much quicker now with the new method, nice that this feature made it already to this update! I found the RndTune setting on home page 3/4. I assume this is the global parameter, because it says "global" in it, before ...

Re: A way to see destination routing
I would like to see this kind of feature as well! Would make troubleshooting some patches much easier to quickly check, if something is modulating something or not. The Solaris is so feature rich synth and you can use so many ways to program a sound, so remembering all routings used is sometimes ...

Re: New version of the OS ? Soon or not ?
Great to hear about the new progress! I support the idea of speeding up scrolling through presets on the card. The idea of John about copying the bank of a card to internal memory sounds good, if it can be done. The list of things that I would like to have addressed:

F5D - Solaris Analog Programs recorded with and without fx
Hi all, I was asked to record some of my Solaris analog imitations sounds without fx to distinguish which part of the sound comes from the Solaris and which from my fx that I often use while recording synths. Here is a link to my SoundCloud for the clip: https://soundcloud.com/f5d/solaris-prg-part1 ...

Re: F5D - Solaris Analog Imitations
Thanks John for fixing the link. I am working on a commercial soundbank for the Solaris, and also for some other synths. I just have problem finding time to establish the website etc. in addition to my daily work.

F5D - Solaris Analog Imitations
Just spent the last 4 hours recording some of my custom Solaris sounds, most of which imitate analog synthesizers, such as Jupiter 8 or Oberheims. All sounds are using 1 layer, typically 1-2 oscillators only, no unison. Also included is 1 track with Waldorf wavetables morphing. I did not use the ...

Re: New version of the OS ? Soon or not ?
Great to hear John that you have all the source code available and under control (!) and a new guy working on it! Sounds much better than the other project I am following at Gearslutz, where an experienced user is trying to build the source code based on hacking the compiled OS-firmware file in the ...
