Pre-sale: the 50 unit goal

It would be nice if we knew how far we stand from the 50 unit goal on pre-sale for the third run, so we know how close we are to the components actually bought and the production taking place. I pre-ordered so I am really looking forward to the moment I can put this wonderful machine to the test.

I would say, if John announced a new version of the Solaris-OS, lot of more people would order one. This was a main constraint for me a year ago, to see that this is a living product.
However I couldn't resist any more and placed an order over a music store a month ago.

I never let a few OS bugs stop me from using the best tools.
If that were the case, I'd still have a rack of S760s and 3 x 10" Trintrons.
But another OS tweek is always welcome...

UPDATE: I now have 40 units sold. This means we have 10 units remaining to sell. Production of the PCBs (printed circuit boards) has been ordered, and we still are on schedule for March production.

Wow, that was faster than I expected! All 50 units have been reserved now! Many thanks to you who purchased, and I look forward to getting the next production round going.

Just an extra note - for those of you who ordered in the last phase, delivery of these units will be at the end of the production cycle, most likely around the end of April or early May, depending on how quickly assembly will go this time.
