Video from Pacific NW Synth gathering
Posted on Matrixsynth.com today (7/27/2010):
http://matrixsynth.blogspot.com/2010/07 ... synth.html
There are two parts...
Most info I think regulars here will already know.
(I apologize for the numerous 'rear end' views, mostly in part 2 - I wasn't thinking about the camera's position, that's for sure!)

How do you post an image here..?
I have some real humdingers from Hooters a couple of weeks back.
They have the best room rates but we always just walk right in the pool.
Beats looking at the neighborhood sea hags..

As things stand now you'd have to use an external link (photobucket etc) but I'll see if 3.x changes that and hurry up on the upgrade...if you guys don't mind living without the fancy color scheme for a bit I can do the upgrade now.scope4live wrote:How do you post an image here..?

Hurray!
I'm always happy to see new video of Solaris. It amazes me how that synth can scream & growl. Never heard anything like that from a digital synth before. Each new video makes me very glad I've got one on order. The rotors is what got me hooked first, then the modulation routings (& the selecting modulaton at the destination thing I think is brilliant), and the feedback just blows me away. Amazing how powerful Solaris sounds. She packs a wallop.
Hip hip hurray!

... speaking at length about something is no guarantee that understanding is advanced.

re: T-shirts - funny you should ask!
Yes, I now have a number of Solaris T-shirts, in black. Available sizes are Medium, Large, XLarge, and XXLarge. Price is $15.00 plus shipping. I just have to set up a method for purchasing....please stay tuned!

p.s. All pre-order customers get a free shirt (if they tell me their size!)

I'll go for the XXLarge when available - please let us know where and how to purchase. FYI - I was playing around with phase modulation synthesis recently and I have to say that you do a *huge* bang for the buck!!! (hint)

Since you have a deposit down for a Solaris, you don't have to purchase the T-shirt...I will include one in the box. (Thanks for the size, though!)galaxiesmerge wrote:I'll go for the XXLarge when available - please let us know where and how to purchase. re: Phase Modulation - yes, absolutely we want to have this! I hoped this would be available for initial release, but Klaus told me he would rather crate a specific oscillator module for this.
cheers,
